Watch Ellen DeGeneres' brilliant response to an anti-gay critic

A US pastor accused her of “celebrating lesbianism” on TV. So that’s exactly what she did.

IN A RECENT COLUMN for The Christian Post entitled ‘Are You Aware of the Avalanche of Gay Programming Assaulting Your Home?’ (catchy), US pastor Larry Tomczak condemned what he perceives as Hollywood’s ‘gay agenda’.

Along with criticising shows like Glee and Modern Family, Tomczak wrote:

Ellen DeGeneres celebrates her lesbianism and “marriage” in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls.

This week on her talk show Ellen addressed the article in her typically humorous fashion, calling out that particularly erroneous use of quotation marks:

First of all, I’m not “married”. I’m married. That’s all.

Go Ellen.
